The mission of the Volunteer and Community Information Centre is to promote best practices in the volunteer community of Medicine Hat and area by offering services and support to Volunteers, Volunteer Managers, Non-profits, Individuals and Community Organizations.

Services: -Promotes volunteerism through National Volunteer Week, media and community events
-Builds capacity for effective local volunteering, by offering training programs for volunteers and volunteer managers such as first aid, board development, professional development training for managers of volunteers, and special event planning, one to one consultations with volunteers and other non-profit agencies, resources and information
-Provides leadership on issues relating to volunteerism by speaking on behalf of volunteers, convening and participating on community round-tables and committees and monitoring community needs
-Connects people with opportunities to serve by providing a recruitment and referral service
-Provides a venue for agencies to network, coordinates volunteer energies, and addresses needs within the community.
-A laptop computer, digital projector, VCR, DVD, overhead projector and media cart are available to members for use off-site.
- Web & Graphic design with special rates.
Special events: Volunteer Week in third or fourth week of April
Membership/service fees: $45/Year. $5 fee for individual community members.
