Food Fundamentals - Bow Island
Food Fundamentals is an easy and fun way to learn basic cooking skills. Participants will learn about food safety in the kitchen, healthy food choices, how to modify recipes, and food preparation. It will also give participants a chance to try some new recipes and meet new people.

Services: Sessions usually run for 6-8 weeks and the recipes prepared will be decided in part by the participants. Sessions are usually about 2.5-3 hours which includes food preparation, food tasting and cleanup. Times of classes will vary depending on group needs. Sessions are offered at various locations in the community to meet the needs of the participants. Childcare may be available if needed.
