Services: Activities include:
Community Worker Project in three areas of the city - Flats, Southview & SE/SW Hill areas
Contracts with agencies to provide FCSS/City funding for preventive services within the community.
Provide grants to various community groups to assist with their programs:
Facilitation/participation with many community agencies/organizations involved in social issues such as poverty, housing, health, youth, etc.
Public consultation on issues impacting the community
Administration of joint use booking of school gyms for community groups
Information/referral to community groups, organizations
